Friends of the Forest supports and campaigns to improve the Forest Recreation Ground, especially for local residents.
Membership is £5 per year.
Volunteer opportunities (volunteer forms available):
Help with preparation for the annual 5 mile celebratory walk for 1845 Inclosure Act (29 June 2008).
Bulb planting on the Forest.
Occasional stalls at City organised functions (e.g. Green Festival).
Other occasional work, giving talks, put up shows, etc.
