Description
The Association provides advice and support to Hyson Green and Berridge Road shopkeepers and other businesses and acts as a bridge to other organisations including the City Council.
Subject to available funding, it also undertakes projects, often with others, which aims to:
Raise the profile of the shopping centre as an exciting multicultural shopping experience and destination by widening the retail offer and undertaking publicity and promotion
Improve the shopping environment by working with traders to provide attractive floral display and festive lights and to reduce on street litter and dumped rubbish
Reduce the prevalence and impact of crime on local business by helping them to improve their security measures
Reduce the impact of antisocial behaviour in the centre encouraging measures such as the Alcohol Free Zone
Working in the Partnership Council area (Area 4)
