Description

Helping Indian people of an older generation with shopping, exercise and socialising skills.  Most of our clients are elderly and physically disabled.

Activities
A range of activities is available for users of the Centre.  Regular shopping trips are arranged and speakers are invited to hold talks on various issues. Video and music system facilities are provided along with a range of periodicals and newspapers.

The Centre has a range of specialised exercise equipment and many members take part in a programme of light exercise during the week. A Stroke Group meets every Thursday at the Centre. Advice and assistance is available from the district nurses and Welfare Rights staff that regularly visit the Centre.

Refreshments are available on arrival and a freshly prepared Indian meal can be purchased at lunchtime at reasonable cost.

Transport
Transport is usually arranged through Social Services Transport Department; the vehicle has room for walking frame, wheelchair, belongings and also a tail-lift to assist anyone who cannot manage the steps.

Help Available
Staffs are always on hand to assist you, your family and carers with any problems that arise. We aim to make your stay as enjoyable as possible, so please let us know if there is anything we can do to help.

Contacts
