Description
The Organization has been specifically set up to address the needs of the Muslim women, girls and elderly and to provide a service for Muslim women and girls. We run a number of different Islamic classes and also a luncheon club every Friday and a youth group for girls aged 11-19 years old. We offer Muslim women and girls of Nottingham the recreational, cultural, religious, traditional and educational activities they need. We offer support to Muslim women and girls for things like welfare rights, career advice and to improve the economical position of Muslim women. We run a number of different classes such as Islamic studies for both women and girls and also have aerobic classes. On Fridays we have a luncheon club and also Friday Prayers (Jumaa Namaaz).
We also have a girls youth group for ages 11 -16 year olds. Here they get to do different activities and get to go on trips.
Volunteer opportunity: Someone to hep us in consultancy, filling funding application forms, re-arrange our accounts, maintenance of centre.
