Description
Nottingham Mediation Service (NMS) helps neighbours to resolve conflicts, which are damaging the quality of their lives. It is free and voluntary.
NMS is part of NACRO services in Nottinghamshire.
What is mediation?
Mediation is a way of solving problems between neighbours. It is a step by step process in which mediators talk and listen to the people involved. They do not take sides or judge anybody but aim to help neighbours reach an agreement which works for everyone.
Who are the mediators?
NMS have a small team of paid staff and a larger team of trained volunteers who are recruited from local communities. They will arrange times of visits to suit you.
Equal Opportunities
We believe in respect for individual dignity, culture and beliefs and we are committed to providing a mediation service which is relevant and accessible for people living in the City of Nottingham.
