Our Service
The Nottinghamshire Chinese Welfare Association is a registered charity. We provide for the needs of Chinese people and promote Chinese Culture in Nottinghamshire.
The charity, which was established in 1990, is a local voluntary sector provider of services to Chinese people with language and integration problems, especially older people.
We provide a whole range of support for local Chinese people and organizations needing help with Chinese issues.

Support
To enable our Charity to provide support to local Chinese people we are funded by the City Council and supported by the City council and supported by the Lottery community fund. We also rely on donations, leisure activities and fund-raising to continue our work in Nottinghamshire.
Further, we rely on the voluntary help and support of local Chinese & non-Chinese people and overseas students. This voluntary support is vital for improving the quality of life of local older Chinese people in Nottinghamshire.
Membership
The NCWA now has over two hundred members. Members benefit from the association by coming to the Saturday meeting, receiving regular newsletters and receiving discounts on activities. Membership fees are very reasonable and go towards maintaining the service we provide.
Saturday Meeting
The Saturday meeting is a lively gathering of members who come for tea and a chat. It is a chance to meet friends and find out what is going to in the association. Please come along and take part, we will be pleased to see you.
