Radford Care Group services for older people:
‘Friendship group’ for local independent elders
‘Day care services’ for more frail dependent elders living in the community

‘Cross cultural networks’ brings together elders from all communities
Radford Care Group is a purpose built centre that offers daytime activities for older people in Nottingham, with extended facilities for the more frail elderly. We also offer support to independent elders in their own homes on housing related matters and the cross cultural network is a lottery funded project lasting 3 years bringing together elders from all communities to participate in activities and trips to sites and destinations of cultural interest.
We are a registered charity and have been providing a service to older people for over 38 years.
We are open 5 days per week between 9 and 3.30 and organise activities such as healthy exercise classes, dancing, talks and discussions, arts and crafts, speakers, entertainment, short and long day trips out and link up with other centres for get-togethers.
We also visit the elders in their own homes offering them support and ensuring they gain the necessary skills and confidence to remain independent.
Our Centre is vibrant, busy and innovative, we don’t sit around and sleep we look for projects to get involved in.
