Description
Start consists of 4 teams, each targeting a different client group.
Singles and Couples - provides a range of support services to single people and couples
Families - provides a range of support services to families consisting of at least one adult and one child living in the same household. Also support for pregnant women
Refugees - supports refugees who have been granted leave to remain
Azuka Befriending Service - provides culturally sensitive and relevant support for young people aged 16-25 of African, Caribbean and Asian backgrounds. Azuka also trains volunteer befrienders to provide supplementary support.
Referrals can be made by individuals or agencies and are followed up by assessments.
