Description

Open access playcentre for children aged 5 - 13 years old, open out of school hours to provide free sessions for children to play safety and creatively.
Session term-time are:  Easter to October half term - Monday-Friday 3.15-6.15pm;
October half term to Easter - Tuesday-Friday 3.15-6.15pm + Saturday 10am-12.30, 1.30-4pm;
School holidays - Monday-Friday 10am-12.30, 1.30-4pm.

The building has play areas and offices, plus an outdoor play area and garden. Car access is via Ayr Street (one way system). Under 5s may come in if accompanied by someone over 16.
Volunteer opportunities (some will require a CRB police check to be completed):
1) Face to face work with children at play sessions (no experience required).
2) Session volunteers, e.g. tuck shop, setting up and clearing away. 
3) Management committee members needed, monthly.
4) Help with publicity.
5) Help with fundraising.
Each volunteer will be linked to a member of staff. All paid play workers are CRB checked.
Training is available.
Volunteer expenses paid (including childcare expenses) or access to creche facilities, to enable you to help out.
