Description
Think Children is a registered charity which supports vulnerable children aged 4-11 years displaying signs of emotional, social or behavioural difficulties. We provide early intervention at the onset of the problem with low level, low key and non-stigmatising community based help.
Our service is taken to the child in their primary school, minimising disruption to routine. Each child is offered on average 12 focused play work sessions, which are carried out one to one with a focused play worker. Focus play work allows a child through play to use the safety of the imaginary world to relieve pent up emotions, clarify how they see their situation and move on with new coping skills.
