About the Voluntary Directory Project
The Voluntary Directory website has been developed by the Partnership Council in response to demand from communities within Nottingham City Council Area Four (Hyson Green, Radford, New Basford, Forest Fields, the Arboretum area, Sherwood Rise, Lenton triangle, and the Park).
The website offers free listing, details and publicity for volunteering opportunities for all voluntary organisations that deliver services in the area.
We hope this website will help to attract new volunteers for these organisations and that you now know where to go to access a variety of services where you are.
After spending a significant amount of time visiting these organisations the Partnership Council were able to gather all the relevant information required to assist you. We realized that this would also assist the voluntary organisations that are usually busy providing us with exceptional services. We have ensured that the website is user friendly, easily accessible, reflecting and identifying diversity.
