The Partnership Council is a local charity that works with local people in Area 4, to improve the area. The Partnership Council deliver a wide range of projects including Area 4 Record Company; Base Camp that provides training and support to Pakistani and Kashmiri volunteer run community groups; and a small grants fund where local children make the funding decisions. Nottinghamshire Community Foundation is an independent charity that gives out grants to community and voluntary sector groups on behalf of individuals, families, local companies and public sector bodies. One of the funds that the Community Foundation administers is the ONE Nottingham Neighbourhood Renewal Programme which provides funding to stimulate and support community activity in the areas of greatest need. Grants are available from �50 to �5,000. This fund operates on a six week rolling programme of panels.
